Something about food...

I guess I am doing fine now in terms of living, therefore I am going to show you what kind of foods that I have here... Actually I should be very busy right now, there are tons of required readings and papers to prepare, but still I think it would be nice to keep showing something about my life here... :)

Before I got my scholarship, I spent economically as much as possible because I have no idea when the scholarship will arrive. Therefore, I ended up ate a lot of hamburgers and hot dogs. Another reason was also because I have not much time for lunch and don't know how to order food.

I have no idea what this is called - something like fried potato pie - but believe me, it was so salty and oily! I threw it away after a few bites - it is not for human!

Although I really wanted to eat at the Shanghai Restaurant, it's still great to discover there is a small Chinese restaurant near Palacky University - "Dragon" - However people who worked there are Vietnameses.

The first Chinese Fried Rice I had here - I was so touched! - It costs about RM8.40 per serving. Of course, with my limited space in stomach, I can't finish it yet I still pack it and bring home. You could see how cost-saving I was.

Mixed Rice - Chicken + Salad + White Rice

Besides that, I always buy a lot of groceries from supermarket and cook for my dinner - simple one. I often share foods with my classmates too!

As soon as I got my bursary...

I decided to celebrate with my friends in a NICE restaurant!

Drinks for the night... I even ordered beer! - so happy...

My friend - Shannon (USA) - she still prefers Coke.

While waiting for food... (From left - Shannon, Lory and I)

Here comes my food for the night - Steak roasted with cranberry sauce and red wine + ice cream topping! It costs about RM18. 30 - reasonable and yummy!

Lory's cheese-baked chicken!

Before eating - let's take a group pic! - typical Japanese style...

You could see how satisfied I was! The best dinner ever since I arrived Olomouc!

Me, Lan (USA), Judith (Belgium) and Meltem (Turkey)

I also went to Cafe 87!!

At the entrance...

How it looks like from the interior side...

From the window...

My Latte Macchiato - My favourite - You should know I am a coffee drinker!

On the table...

My strawberry pancake - sweet and tasty - but not too much
