A visit to Prague
Actually I am supposed to do my papers, I have around 7 papers which are due on November and December respectively. Sigh, I wonder how am I going to finish all of them. They are just piling up! But still, I think I should update my blog once in a while to let peoples who care about me know how I am doing here in Olomouc, Czech Rep. Last weekend, I went to Prague with Lory, Ayima (Krygstan) and Lilit (Armenia). Jirka (Czech), who is Ayima's friend offered to bring us around Prague, a city that my ex-boss always wanted to go. I have taken 193 pictures in total, it's impossible to show all of them here, these are some good ones, I hope...

After some climbing of 300 steps, we went up to the church tower and I got this!

We also checked out one of the shopping centres in Prague - comparable to our KLCC.
Something about food...
I guess I am doing fine now in terms of living, therefore I am going to show you what kind of foods that I have here... Actually I should be very busy right now, there are tons of required readings and papers to prepare, but still I think it would be nice to keep showing something about my life here... :)
Before I got my scholarship, I spent economically as much as possible because I have no idea when the scholarship will arrive. Therefore, I ended up ate a lot of hamburgers and hot dogs. Another reason was also because I have not much time for lunch and don't know how to order food.
I have no idea what this is called - something like fried potato pie - but believe me, it was so salty and oily! I threw it away after a few bites - it is not for human!
Although I really wanted to eat at the Shanghai Restaurant, it's still great to discover there is a small Chinese restaurant near Palacky University - "Dragon" - However people who worked there are Vietnameses.
The first Chinese Fried Rice I had here - I was so touched! - It costs about RM8.40 per serving. Of course, with my limited space in stomach, I can't finish it yet I still pack it and bring home. You could see how cost-saving I was.

Besides that, I always buy a lot of groceries from supermarket and cook for my dinner - simple one. I often share foods with my classmates too!

I decided to celebrate with my friends in a NICE restaurant!

Here comes my food for the night - Steak roasted with cranberry sauce and red wine + ice cream topping! It costs about RM18. 30 - reasonable and yummy!

I have had a tiring week, four days of classes in a row, from 9.45am to 6.15pm except Monday, not including spending the whole last weekend for reading my required readings day and night... Phew...! It is very difficult for me to imagine what would be the rest of my study life in Olomouc? Before this, I was still "dreaming" to travel around Europe during all my weekends. It seems like it is not really possible to do that at least at the beginning of my study. What a waste! No matter what, I will have a must-visit list and try to fullfil it whenever I could!
When I was still working, I always wanted to go back to study again when I was under pressure, especially studying abroad. Now that I have already realized my dream here to be in Europe, I missed those days in my ex-company which everything was short and precise compared to my Masters readings now! I guess human will never be satisfied with what they got, especial girls! Ha-ha...
Anyway, I still take pictures wherever I go. During the orientation week, I attended a police information meeting. There was a Czech student who spoke English very well acted as a translator for the police officer. After the meeting, I thought he was the responsible person to bring me to the police immigration department. Therefore I asked for his help right away. Without asking much questions, he "blur blur" also brought me there. A nice guy. He made me run like marathon after going to the police station because he would be late for his next appointment. When the marathon ended, I found out the peoples that he wanted to meet was MY FRIENDS too. To cut the story short, that's how I got to know Mike. Below are some pictures taken when Mikes bring us around...

This is how it looks like in the church. I was AMAZED. This is the very first time I enter a "REAL" church. I feel like I am a 村姑 from Malaysia.

We went to Archdiocesan Museum near Palacky Univeristy too, however we are not allowed to take pictures in there. I only get to snap the picture of a well, which at least exists for more than few hundred year...

Visiting to Bouzov Castle
During the orientation week, we went to visit a famous castle in Olomouc...
Waiting for our tour guide to buy tickets and our turn to visit the castle, one English speaking tour guide can only handle a certain number of peoples...

We are not allowed to take picture in there, so I try to take as much as pictures as I can at the outside!

After the visit, due to the "no picture inside" policy and my "kia-su" policy, I took a few more pictures before we left...

Mum, this is for you, as I still can't buy any turtles for you here, be it alive or for diplay purpose. But I found this! Please be understood that I can't bring it back for you. I would end up living in the police station if I do this, haha! This is at the down town near the famous fountain. I promise I will bring some back...love you...
